Every Fourth Wednesday | 1 p.m.
The Courtyard at Fitchburg hosts a monthly Parkinson’s support group on the fourth Wednesday of every month, open to anyone living with Parkinson’s and/or a related movement disorder and the care partners who support them. Both groups meet at 1 p.m. in separate areas of the community, so each has its own room and focus.
For Care Partners and Caregivers
Caring for someone with Parkinson’s brings questions and challenges that are easier to face alongside people who have walked the same road. This group gives family members and caregivers a supportive place to talk openly about what they are going through, share what has helped, and ask questions of others who understand the day-to-day realities of caregiving. No one has to work through it alone.
For People Living With Parkinson’s or a Movement Disorder
Those living with Parkinson’s or another movement disorder come together for a guided activity led by the team. It is a time to stay active, be among others who understand the condition firsthand, and take part in something they can look forward to each month.
RSVP is appreciated so the team can plan for both groups. Reserve a spot by calling (608) 820-2980, emailing dsmcourtyardatfitchburg@encorecares.com, or using the form below.
